The participants of the Global Baku Forum have grown in numbers, said Vaira Vike-Freiberga, co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and former Latvian president.

She made the remarks at the opening of the 6th Global Baku Forum, titled "Bridging Gaps to Create Inclusive Societies," in Baku on March 15, APA reports.

The former Latvian president said that the notion of just society emerged thousands of years ago and that Nizami Ganjavi promoted this notion in his works.

"The inclusive society gives impetus to development. It’s necessary to accept differences in order for reliable society to be built. This is important for general development, well-being, stability and peace. I believe that inclusive societies will be established in the world, protracted conflicts and injustice will be brought to the attention of the whole world. We live in the same world; climate change and injustice concern all,” Vaira Vike-Freiberga said in her message.
