APA reports quoting the official website of the Ministry that Heydarov said that the two brotherly countries – Turkey and Azerbaijan are successfully cooperating in international platforms. “Our relations in all areas as well as in prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences are at a high-level. The two countries’ relevant agencies take significant measures for the benefit our people and states. The cooperation between our countries will be further strengthened in accordance with great leader Heydar Aliyev’s saying “one nation, two states”, the Minister said.
The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, in his turn, stressed the importance of the high level international conference and praised the reconstruction works in Gabala.
Atalay noted that Azerbaijan was the first country which provided assistance during the earthquake in Van, Turkey. He expressed hope that Azerbaijan, which is steadily advancing in economic and social fields and becoming a powerful state, will achieve great successes with Turkey and they will further expand the exchange of experiences in the fields of prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences.
The sides thoroughly exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
