John Kerry: â€œThe U.S. remains committed to the cooperation with Azerbaijan to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflictâ€

Baku – APA. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has congratulated the people and government of Azerbaijan on the occasion of 28 May – Republic Day, APA reports.

The letter says: “On behalf of President Barack Obama and the U.S. people, I congratulate the people and government of Azerbaijan on the occasion of 28 May – Republic Day. The Republic of Azerbaijan and United States are committed to the diversification of energy resources and promotion of regional security. We are grateful to Azerbaijan for its partnership within NATO-led peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan.

The U.S. remains committed to the cooperation with Azerbaijan to achieve strengthening of democratic institutions, promotion of an open market economy and peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The U.S. reiterates its confidence for the future development of bilateral relations and bright future of the Azerbaijani people.”
