Investigation on father of Armenian MP, NATO PA member, underway in Azerbaijan

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation on the case of the father of member of the Armenian delegation, MP Tevan Poghosyan, who is attending the 86th NATO PA Rose-Roth seminar titled “The South Caucasus: Challenges and Opportunities” in Baku, for the bloody crime which he committed against Azerbaijanis. Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the NATO PA, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Ziyafat Asgarov said this in his response to Poghosyan’s accusations against Azerbaijan for the events happened in Sumgayit.

Asgarov demanded the Armenian MP to stop falsifying the recent history calling on to abandon hypocrisy and impoliteness: “You have been accusing Azerbaijan of Sumgayit events for two days. Don’t you know that these events were organized by the Soviet KGB (the Committee for State Security) and your Grigoryan?!” However it has already been proved through investigation. But your father is one of those who committed the bloody crime against Azerbaijanis is Karabakh. I have strong evidences on this incident; an investigation is underway at the Republican Military Prosecutor’s Office in this regard. Your father, the murderer, will soon be found through Interpol and punished. You will see it very soon”.
