Foreign Ministry told APA that Elmar Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan attaches great importance to partnership with the Council of Europea, and Azerbaijan will even contribute to the activities of the organization during its chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europea.
Touching upon the talks held on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister Mammadyarov said the first thing to do for the resolution of the conflict is withdrawal of Armenian troop from Azerbaijan’s occupied territories.
In turn, Brasseur said the priorities that Azerbaijan has announced will be priorities on the agenda of the Council of Europe during its chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers.
