Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov met with the winners of the essay contest titled “What I know about Azerbaijan” held among the local students.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico told APA that Mukhtarov congratulated the winners and informed the students about the history, culture, internal and foreign policy and recent economic achievements of Azerbaijan and underlined the importance of mutual familiarization visits between the two countries in development of Azerbaijan-Mexico relations.
The Mexican students said that they familiarized themselves with Azerbaijan’s rich history and culture during the studies and thanking for providing them with an opportunity to visit the country. They expressed their readiness to promote Azerbaijan and contribute to further development of the mutual relations.
The students were informed about the educational opportunities available to the students who are interested in the educational programs of ADA University and the students were invited to take part in the educational programs of the university.
