5th plenary meeting of TURKPA kicks off in Baku - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

APA reports parliamentary speakers and MPs of the member countries – Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Hungary, representatives of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, the TURKSOY, the Turkish Academy, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), the GUAM, and the Marmara Group Foundation of Turkey.

Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov who took over the TURKPA Chairmanship from Turkey yesterday opened the meeting and told about the cooperation of the member states. He said increase in economic and political power of the member states will also increase the prestige of the organization.

The content of TURKPA’s activity will be discussed; reports will be presented at the meeting. The agenda of the meeting includes the election of chairmen and deputy chairman of standing commissions, the report of TURKPA on the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan and the approval of TURKPA’s budget for 2015.
