An event titled “New Geopolitical Realities in the South Caucasus: Azerbaijan and the Peace Agenda” was held at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (CAIR), APA reports.
Within the framework of the event, CAIR experts, members of parliament, and specialists discussed the current geopolitical processes in the South Caucasus, the regional security environment, and the prospects of the peace agenda.
Chairman of the Board of CAIR Farid Shafiyev emphasized that Azerbaijan’s demand for a referendum on constitutional amendments in Armenia remains unchanged.
Other speakers also noted that there is a positive trend toward peace with Azerbaijan in Armenia, while drawing attention to the importance of holding a referendum on constitutional issues.
The event featured discussions on the new geopolitical realities taking shape in the South Caucasus, an analysis of Azerbaijan’s regional peace and cooperation agenda, promotion of the scientific and analytical activities of young researchers, and the importance of expanding exchanges of views among the academic community, experts, and decision-makers.
At the event, winners of the article competition titled “New Geopolitical Realities in the South Caucasus: Azerbaijan and the Peace Agenda,” organized by CAIR, were awarded, and their research findings were presented to the public.
