Azerbaijan exports 977 tonnes of diesel to Armenia-UPDATED

Azerbaijan has sent another batch of petroleum products to Armenia, including 977 tonnes of diesel fuel, APA reports.

The shipment, consisting of 16 railway wagons, was dispatched from Bilajari station towards Boyuk Kesik on 5 September.

The latest delivery comes as Azerbaijan continues exports of petroleum products to Armenia.

To date, Azerbaijan has exported nearly 16,000 tonnes of diesel fuel to Armenia, as well as almost 5,000 tonnes of AI-92 and AI-95 petrol.

The shipments form part of growing economic and trade contacts between Azerbaijan and Armenia amid the ongoing normalisation process between the two countries.

The next batch of petroleum products will be exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia, while transit cargo will also be delivered, APA reports.

A total of 977 tons of diesel fuel in 16 wagons will be dispatched from Bilajari station toward Boyuk Kasik on September 5.

Recall that to date, nearly 16,000 tons of diesel and nearly 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.

At the same time, another shipment from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan will also be carried out.

A total of 355 tons of wheat in five wagons, 180 tons of fertilizer in three wagons, and 138 tons of timber in two wagons will be dispatched toward Boyuk Kasik on the same date.

It should be noted that to date, nearly 60,000 tons of grain, nearly 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,414 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal, and 334 tons of timber have been transported from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.
