Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, who is on a visit to Minsk to participate in the 16th meeting of the Belarus-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, visited the “Pershy Regional Trade Center” (Першы рэгіянальны гандлёвы цэнтр), showcasing Belarusian local products, as well as the Azerbaijan Trade House operating in the Belarusian capital, APA reports.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister familiarized himself with food products, textiles, industrial goods, and handicrafts produced in various regions of Belarus at the “Pershy” trade center and emphasized the importance of exchanging experience between the two countries in organizing domestic markets and promoting local brands.
Later, Samir Sharifov visited the Azerbaijan Trade House in Minsk, where he reviewed the range of national products presented under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand, as well as sales dynamics and the level of interest among local consumers.
It was noted that the Azerbaijan Trade House serves as an important platform for promoting Azerbaijan’s economic and export potential in Belarus, as well as for expanding ties between the business communities of the two countries.
