Elmar Mammadyarov: â€œUnresolved conflicts negatively effect on regional and energy corridorsâ€™ securityâ€

Baku. Lachin Sultanovaâ€“APA. Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met with the Romanian Foreign Intelligence Service Mihai Razvan Ungureanu. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA the sides have emphasized the high level of bilateral relations and appreciated same position of the two countries on different issues.

Mammadyarov has described Romania as a strategic partner for Azerbaijan and underlined productivity of the joint cooperation in the Black Sea region. Touching upon the regional unresolved conflicts, the minister said they negatively effected on the regional and energy corridors security.
In his turn, the visitor has noted that both Azerbaijan and Romania respected principles and norms of the international law and added that Azerbaijan had a strategic economic importance for Europe.
Last developments in the region, as well as cooperation within the international organizations have been discussed at the meeting.
