Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister: â€œThe attack to Iran can come expensive to Israelâ€

Moscow. Farid Akbarov â€“ APA. â€œTehran and Damascus hold the same position,â€ Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said at the press conference in Moscow. He said that Iran supported the Syrian people: â€œWe support Syrian people and Bashar al-Assadâ€™s reforms. Iran condemns the external interference in settlement of Syria conflict. We condemn the desire of Western countries to intervene militarily in Syria and support for terrorists. Iran is astonished at activeness of Al-Qaeda in Syria. The Western countries sent arms to Syria. These arms are acquired by the terroristsâ€.

He said he held discussions with Russian president’s envoy on the Middle East, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on Syria conflictâ€™s settlement and the Middle East and added that the only way of settlement of Syria conflict was negotiations: â€œThe military intervention of Western countries canâ€™t solve the problem. We regret that the Western countries didnâ€™t let the implementation of Annan plan. Tehran and Moscow support the implementation of Annan plan. Iran supports the struggle of Bashar al-Assadâ€™s government against Zionist regimeâ€.
