Baku - APA. Azerbaijani Ambassador to US Elin Suleymanov and Deputy Military Attaché Shafi Sultanov joined the National Guard conference in Oklahoma. APA reports that just the servicemen of this state are the partners of Azerbaijani armed forces. Addressing the conference, Azerbaijani Ambassador Elin Suleymanov expressed gratitude to the National Guard for efficient cooperation with Azerbaijan and giving impetus to bilateral relations between the states. Touching upon the current achievements, Azerbaijani ambassador also spoke about the role of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in formation of Azerbaijani statehood.
Commander of the National Guard Myles Lynn Deering highly estimated the leading role of Azerbaijan in the region and decorated the diplomat with medal of “Thunderbird†at the solemn banquet ceremony.
