Argentinaâ€™s Foreign Ministry: â€œAzerbaijan has been in recent years one of the fastest growing economies in the worldâ€

Baku-APA. Argentinaâ€™s Ministry of Foreign Relations and Worship released official information on the eve of official visit of Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyrov to this country, press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA. The information says that Argentina’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Hector Timerman will receive today the delegation consisting of officials and businessmen led by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in San Martin Palace in Buenos Aires.

â€œThis visit is part of â€œa process of strengthening the relationship between the two countries.â€ The ministry said that in early July, Foreign Minister Timerman traveled to Baku by the Interior Commerce Secretary Guillermo Moreno, and a retinue of two hundred Argentine businessmen.

The delegations will attend Argentina-Azerbaijan Business Forum tomorrow in San Martin Palace and hold bilateral working meetings with participation of businessmen during afternoon.

The Azerbaijani delegation will hold meetings with Timerman work, and the ministers of Industry, Debora Giorgi, of Agriculture, Norberto Yauhar and Planning, Julio De Vido, and the Secretaries of Interior and Foreign Trade, Guillermo Moreno and Beatriz Paglieri.

â€œAzerbaijan has been in recent years one of the fastest growing economies in the worldâ€, said Foreign Ministry said in a statement, noting that â€œin the last ten years the Azeri GDP quadrupled and the average income in dollars currents increased almost nine times. â€œ

In addition the portfolio said that â€œthe Azerbaijani authorities seeking to diversify its economy and have expressed interest in products and technologies that our country offers, particularly in the area of agriculture and food production with added value, infrastructure and construction, pharmaceutical sector and in information technology and energyâ€.
