Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with Colombian Minister of Mines and Energy Mauricio Cárdenas Santa MarÃa within his visit to Colombia.
Speaking about energy opportunities of his country, the Colombian Minister said that they would take efforts for creating relations in this sphere with Azerbaijan that has rich hydrocarbon resources
In his turn, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov noted rich oil history and oil experience of Azerbaijan and informed about the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy growing strong and qualified experts in this sphere. Elmar Mammadyarov proposed for Colombian students to get education in the academy and said that Azerbaijan cooperated with several Latin American countries.
Santa MarÃa expressed gratitude to Elmar Mammadyarov for his proposal and said that he would visit Azerbaijan soon.
