Elmar Mammadyarov receives UK Parliament’s delegation

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has received the delegation led by member of UK Parliament Bob Blackman. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA that the processes in the regions of South Caucasus and Middle East, the role of Azerbaijan in international peacemaking operations and the activity of Azerbaijan in Afghanistan were discussed at the meeting.
Informing about the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov drew attention to the non-constructive position of Armenia, as well as the negative influence of so-called “presidential elections†held in Azerbaijan’s Nagorno Karabakh region.
The sides underlined the increase of our country’s image and strengthened its position in the international world and discussed Azerbaijan’s activity in the UN Security Council and relations with international organizations.
