Chairman of Mexico-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Marcos Perez Esquer awarded with â€œHonorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijanâ€

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Mexican Congress Oscar Arce.

Stressing the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico the Head of State expressed his confidence that these relations will development much more in future. Noting the importance of the inter-parliamentary relations in strengthening of relations between our countries Ilham Aliyev underlined the importance of active extension of mutual trade relations in economic sphere. President Ilham Aliyev underlined the importance of opening of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Mexico for the first time in the Latin American countries. Noting the importance of mutual visits in development of relations between our countries the Head of State expressed his confidence that the visit of President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Mexican Congress Oscar Arce to Azerbaijan will be useful.

President of Azerbaijan praised adoption by the Mexican Senate of a decision on recognition of Khojaly genocide and expressed gratitude. President Aliyev said the chairman of the Mexico-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Marcos Perez Esquer was awarded with the "Honorary Diploma of the Azerbaijan President" and presented him the Diploma.

Chairman of the Mexico-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Marcos Perez Esquer expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani President.

President of Chamber of Deputies of the Mexican Congress Oscar Arce said they attach great importance to Azerbaijan as a fraternal country and are keen in development of bilateral relations in all fields, including in expansion of the inter-parliamentary cooperation. Potential and further development of economic, cultural, education and parliamentary relations between the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
