Azerbaijani President receives Georgian Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili

Baku – APA. On July 16, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili. APA reports that the Head of State congratulated Merabishvili on his appointment to the new post and wished him successes in his activity. President Aliyev noted that Merabishvili’s visit created good opportunities for discussion of issues on development of relations in all directions, including political, economic and the other spheres. Merabishvili expressed dissatisfaction with his first foreign visit to Azerbaijan as a Prime Minister. They exchanged view on issues concerning the extension of Azerbaijan-Georgia bilateral relations in different spheres.
