Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation led by led by Vice-Speaker of the Mexican Senate Francisco Arroyo Vieyra. Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that Mammadyarov highly assessed the role inter-parliamentary relations in the modern diplomacy and expressed gratitude to the guests due to the decision passed by Mexican Senate on recognition of Khojaly genocide.

Vieyra said he supported Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity. He underlined that they understood Azerbaijanâ€™s fair work to restore its territorial integrity. Vieyra noted that they obtained detailed information about Azerbaijan as a result of diplomatic work carried out in recent years and underlined the importance of opening the diplomatic representation of Mexico in Baku.

Vieyra touched on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and expressed regret for non-fulfillment of resolutions adopted by the international organizations. The guest said that Mexican Parliament was always near Azerbaijan and supported its territorial integrity.

The also discussed the ways of development of relations in education sphere, as well as mutual students and expert exchange opportunities.
