Sergei Naryshkin: â€œWe have not enough used from the existing potential of the inter-parliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Russiaâ€

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Chairman of Russiaâ€™s State Duma Sergei Naryshkin ended his visit to Azerbaijan. APA reports that Sergei Naryshkin told journalists at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport there is a big potential between the two countries for development of the inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries. We have also closely cooperated within the several international inter-parliamentary organizations before. We cooperated by agreed our positions in advance and protected our common interests especially in the CIS Parliamentary Assembly, PACE and etc.â€ He noted that Azerbaijan and Russia have several same interests in the international community.

Naryshkin said that wide discussions in political, social and humanitarian spheres were held during the meetings: â€œI held many-branched discussions in the inter-parliamentary and inter-governmental plane during my visit to Azerbaijan. I think that the cooperation in humanitarian sphere must be active and important, because it creates a steady base to the future cooperation. Thatâ€™s why I met with creative people working in educational, scientific and the other spheres. Serious discussions on the development of the Eurasia integration were held during the meetings. We exchanged view on all spheres of the integration to Eurasia.â€

First vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov and other members f the parliament saw off the Chairman of Russiaâ€™s State Duma at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
