Azerbaijan`s president receives Russian delegation led by chairman of State Duma - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

President Ilham Aliyev offered condolence to the Russian people over numerous casualties caused by floods in Krasnodar territory.

The Head of State congratulated Naryshkin on his election as chairman of the State Duma of Russia. President Ilham Aliyev also highly appreciated the fact that in his new post Naryshkin has made his first visit to Azerbaijan, adding this is an important indicator of development of relationship between the two countries in all spheres.

President Ilham Aliyev noted there were very fruitful and dynamic relationship between Azerbaijan and Russia, adding the two countries` peoples and societies had great services in this issue.

Sergey Naryshkin thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the condolence and kind words. He said relationship between Azerbaijan and Russia was multifaceted. Naryshkin added the meetings held proved that the interparliamentary ties had great potential, as well.
Following the meeting awarding ceremony took place.

Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin was awarded with Dostlug Order in accordance with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s Order for his special services in development and strengthening of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
In accordance with another Order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President`s special representative for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy was awarded with Dostlug Order for his special services in strengthening of cultural relations between Azerbaijan Russia.

President Ilham Aliyev presented the orders.

Sergey Naryshkin and Mikhail Shvydkoy thanked the order.
