Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai attended the opening ceremony of Jeyranchol project implemented by NATO and ANAMA.
APA reports that Appathurai told journalists that he highly assessed ANAMA’s technical capabilities, underlined that several projects were implemented with NATO’s assistance.
He said that the issue on Azerbaijan’s membership to NATO was not on agenda and expressed concern over the recent tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the frontline. He underlined that NATO supported the efforts of the OSCE Minsk group on the conflict’s settlement.
