Azerbaijani embassy in Russia issued statement on wound of 3 Azerbaijanis in Yaroslavl oblast

APA reports quoting the embassyâ€™s website that the embassy is concerned about the incident.

â€œThe conflict occurred with participation of employee of the intelligence agency and according tom the information of Azerbaijani Diaspora, the serious pressure is exerted on the wounded. The embassy will address cognizant the authorities of the Russian Federation for objective investigation of the incident. The embassyâ€™s employee will go to Yaroslavl oblast to meet with representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora and local authoritiesâ€. The statement says that Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu keeps contact with leaders of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Yaroslavl oblast.

Five persons were injured as a result of skirmish occurred between Azerbaijanis and two unknown persons in Borisoglebks region of Yaroslavl oblast. APA reports quoting â€œRIA Novostiâ€ that the incident occurred near Ustye river. A group of Azerbaijanis were listening to music loudly, then two servicemen resting near with women asked them to reduce the sound. Their request was ignored and a man fired on our compatriot from traumatic pistol. Three Azerbaijanis were wounded, one of our compatriots could switch the pistol out of the hands of serviceman. Then he fired on the serviceman and his friend and wounded them. The state of the serviceman is reported serious. The materials of the launched criminal case were delivered to military investigation department of Russian Investigative Committee for Yaroslavl garrison.
