Program of Argentinean Foreign Ministerâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan made public

Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that Argentinean business mission led by Timerman and Interior Commerce Secretary Guillermo Moreno will arrive in Azerbaijan tomorrow. The delegation that consists of more than 300 people includes Argentinean Secretary of Foreign Trade Beatriz Paglieri, Governor of La Rioja province Luis Beder Herrera, Vice Secretary of trade promotion and investment in Argentina Carlos Bianco, Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Marcelo Yasky, Deputy Secretary of Livestock Alejandro Lotti, representatives of Argentinean Foreign Ministry, economic ministry and state organizations, various provinces, as well as many businessmen.

This mission which doesnâ€™t have a regional character and paid only to Azerbaijan will arrive in Baku directly from Buenos Aires. The visit aims to give an impetus to extension of relations in all spheres between the two countries, especially the popularization of economic and trade operations and investments.

Minister Timerman and State Secretary Moreno will be received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

During the visit, Timerman, Moreno and Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev will participate in the opening ceremony of Azerbaijan-Argentina Business Forum in JW Absheron Marriott Hotel in Baku.

The bilateral meetings for the purpose of discussion of topics on establishing the joint entities between the companies of both countries on trade, joint production, investment and services will be held within Azerbaijan-Argentina business forum on July 3-4, organized by AZPROMO, Argentinean Foreign Ministry and Secretariat of Trade.

The Argentinean companies engaged in sectors like agriculture and foodstuffs, agricultural technologies, technology of foodstuffs production, agro chemistry, pharmaceutics, oil, industry devices, automotive engineering and household appliances, construction, furniture, cosmetics, textile and etc. will participate in the business forum tomorrow.

Asado Dinner Party will be given on behalf of Argentinean delegation in Gulustan Palace, Baku on July 3.
