He said that the embassy worked in normal conditions: “There is no instruction on evacuation of embassy and its staff. 60 Azerbaijani citizens have been registered in our embassy till June 10, 26 of them are students, 34 – their family members. Members of our embassy keep in touch with them every Friday and Saturdayâ€.
About 40 Azerbaijani citizens left Syria and returned home due to riots in this country.
