Recall that the Committee on Foreign Relations of the U.S. Senate at the meeting of June 19 approved the nomination of Richard Morningstar as ambassador.
Richard Morningstar in April 2009, a U.S. State Department special envoy for Eurasian energy.
He previously taught at the Faculty at Stanford and Harvard Universities. In 1999-2001, Richard Morningstar was U.S. ambassador to the EU.
