Baku hosts 17th meeting of International Conference of Asian Political Parties

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. The 17th meeting of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties has started with the organizing of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP). APA reports that YAP deputy chairman Ali Ahmadov said in his speech that there is a big need to increase cooperation between the political parties. He noted that this cooperation will stimulate the establishment of Asian Union. Ahmadov spoke about the activity of the political parties in Azerbaijan and reforms implemented in the country, as well as Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

49 representatives from 17 countries participate in the conference. Works on holding of General Assembly and issues of its agenda will be discussed and confirmed. The event will last two day and participants of the conference will meet with deputy chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov and become familiar with the cultural-architectural and historical monuments of Azerbaijan.
