Elnur Aslanov: â€œAccording to the Constitution, deployment of military base of another country in Azerbaijan is impossibleâ€

According to him, the Azerbaijani side has shown its position on the Gabala Radar Station for several times: â€œEither definite number or proposals reflect the current political and economic development of Azerbaijan. At the same time, these figures conform to reality. It is impossible to forget that today Azerbaijan is a country, which has a great potential for tourism. At the same time, according to the Constitution, deployment of military base of another state in the territory of Azerbaijan is impossible. The negotiations between Azerbaijan and Russia are being continued in accordance with it.â€

About the increasing of lease amount of the Gabala Radar Station Aslanov underlined that the negotiations are being continued on it: â€œAzerbaijan has always supported the proposal to hold negotiations behind closed doors.â€

The PA official underlined that Russiaâ€™s refusal from the Gabala Radar Station and joint usage of this station with another state has not been discussed.
