Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan: Romania will continue to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Azerbaijan

According to Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Daniel Ciobanu two decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries laid the foundation of strong friendship.

D. Ciobanu praised the mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania, which bears the character of strategic partnership, noting that it would contribute to peace and prosperity in the region.

The Ambassador assured that Romania would continue to cooperate with Azerbaijan in various fields, including in the sphere of economy and culture.
Azerbaijani Agriculture minister Ismet Abbasov said in his speech that Romania is one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijanâ€™s independence, supporting Azerbaijan on Nagorno-Karabakh.
The event was attended by heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, Milli Majlis, representatives of civil society, religious denominations represented in the country, and the media.
