APA’s Moscow correspondent reports that on June 15, Astana hosted a meeting of the Board of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation.
Members of the Foundation’s Board discussed the results of foundation’s draft activity in the first half of 2012, organization of the “Eurasian culture in the new world†international forum, implementation of pilot stage of the “Cultural Centers of the Commonwealth†and development of integration processes in the Eurasian area within the program “Astana-Cultural capital of the Commonwealthâ€.
The elections to the post of chairman of IHCF’s Board were held at the meeting. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu was reelected to this post for the next two years.
Executive Secretary of the Foundation is Armenia’s former ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatyan.
