91st Plenary Session of Venice Commission ends

Department chief of the Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s office Latif Huseynov told APA that the Commission examined the draft opinion on the revision of the Constitution of Belgium, the Federal Law of the Russian Federation on Combating Extremist Activity, the Act on the Elections of Members of Parliament of Hungary, the Act on the Rights of Nationalities of Hungary, the Act on the Prosecution Service of Hungary, the Act on the Constitutional Court of Hungary, Free access to information of Montenegro, as well as other Constitutional developments in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Morocco and Tunisia.

Latif Huseynov delivered a speech at the session, as one of the authors of the draft opinion on the Act of the Rights of Nationalities of Hungary. He also informed the members of the Commission about the work done by Azerbaijanâ€™s Justice Ministry toward the fulfilment of the Venice Commissionâ€™s recommendations made in October, 2011 concerning the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan on non-governmental organizations.
