Elmar Mammadyarov meets Special Envoy of Netherlands, Senator Rene van der Linden

Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that Senator Rene van der Linden said that Azerbaijan is a leading country in the region and he observed reforms in all spheres and development in the country with a great interest. Recalling his participation in the International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference on June 6-7 he said that he met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and officials during his visit. Rene van der Linden noted that he returned from his visit with great impressions and new cooperation ideas and expressed his confidence in further extension of relations between the two countries after the visit of Elmar Mammadyarov to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and his high-level meetings.

Speaking about the reforms in Azerbaijan, bilateral political and economic relations and future perspective projects Minister Elmar Mammadyarov called Rene van der Linden to make a contribution to the extension of the relations between the two countries.

They exchanged view on energy, global security, political and economic events in the world and discussed the issues of mutual interest.
