Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that Mammadyarov made a speech at the meeting and said that he attached importance to the regional cooperation. He also underlined the importance of fulfillment of the energy and infrastructure projects between the three countries.

As a result of Azerbaijan’s significance from the standpoint of transit and importance of Azerbaijan’s role in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan, the minister noted the contribution to regional cooperation by arising from.

Speaking about the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict Mammadyarov said that it was important to solve the conflict on the basis of international law and its principles. He said that only people would benefit from the solution of conflict and stressed that the aggressive policy shook the cooperation in the region and it would not be any cooperation with the country, which carried out ethnic cleansing and violated international law principles.

Mammadyarov also noted that there were great potentials for the cooperation in several spheres, as well humanitarian and tourism spheres.

The minister noted that the cooperation among Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia served to tranquility, peace and stability in the region and Azerbaijan’s target was friendly neighborhood policy.
