The main topic of the session is “Post-Arab Spring Middle East: uncertainties and perspectivesâ€, APA reports.
Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, NATO Coordinator on Azerbaijan Daniel Ciobanu addressed the session. He highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s participation in the peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and said about 30 NATO-Azerbaijan joint events are planned this year.
Nearly 50 delegates from 20 countries participate in the session. They will discuss the Middle East processes, the role of mass media and social networks in these processes, interference of the international community in the developments.
The session will be finished on February 4.
