Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. “It is time to discuss the withdrawal of France from OSCE Minsk Group, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told CNN Turk, APA reports quoting Turkish media.

He underlined that the US, France and Russia are the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, which was established in 1992 to deal with the Nagorno Karabakh problem.

“The two nations worrying about Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict are the Russians and Turks. Turkey is not involved in this process, while France is involved. French President Sarkozy stayed two days in Armenia and several hours in Azerbaijan. He openly demonstrated that he supports one party. Having no rights, he will point at the Turkish lands as Agri Dagh and then will seek solution to the conflict being an equal right co-chair. As a person, who fulfilled mediation mission, I state that France can not fulfill this mission,” Davutoglu said.

Foreign Minister said Turkey will discuss this issue.
“Being the member of the Minsk Group, Turkey will ask how the country, which parliament passed such a law, can be the mediator. Later it will ask it for the sake of the rights of the fraternal Azerbaijan, 20% of which has been occupied. It is high time for us to discuss it. Either Turkey must sit at the table along with the co-chairs, or France must be withdrawn. This is the position of Turkey,” he said.
