Moldova’s embassy in Azerbaijan told APA that secretary of Moldova’s Supreme Security Council Yuriy Rikichinsky was invited to the parliament to make comment on the letter sent to acting president Marian Lupu, but at the moment, Moldova does not sell any arms to Armenia.

The Nezavisimaya Gazeta published an article entitled “Moldova loads tons of missiles” saying that sale of arms to Armenia caused a new scandal. On February 27, secretary of Moldova’s Supreme Security Council Yuriy Rikichinsky was invited to the parliament to make comment on the letter sent to acting president Marian Lupu. Rikichinsky was asked to assist the fulfillment of arms deals. The question was about the sale of 20-ton missile launchers and appropriate ammunitions to Armenia.
