Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that during the meeting Mammadyarov underlined high level relations between Azerbaijan and Poland and existence of great potential in the fields of further development and deepening of relations between the two countries.
They underlined the necessity of inter-parliamentary relations and noted the significance of parliamentary diplomacy. Mammadyarov said that the direct contacts of parliamentarians would give an impulse to the development of existing political, economical, humanitarian and cultural relations. They exchange view on the state of Polish economy, Poland-EU relations and Poland’s relations with the regional countries.
Mammadyarov also informed the Polish MP on Nagorno Karabakh conflict and steps taken towards its settlement.
They also exchanged view on issues of mutual interest.
