Baku. Habil Suleymanzadeh – APA. The 5th meeting of the GUAM’s working group on energy has ended in Baku. APA reports quoting the press service of GUAM that the representatives of the relevant ministries of GUAM member states and representatives of GUAM secretariat attended the meeting. The sides discussed preparations for the seminar on energy security. The sides also approved the intention to strengthen energy cooperation. The proposal was made to include into the agenda of GUAM-Japan dialogue the issue on financing of the technical-economic feasibility in the sphere of gas transport in the Black and Caspian sea regions. The proposal was supported.
Agreement was reached on Azerbaijan’s activity as coordinator in the GUAM’s working group on energy next year.
