Samad Seyidov: Armenians know that at the first meeting of the communities they will be asked about the reason of their ethnic cleansing policy against Azerbaijanis, therefore they avoid meeting

Despite all efforts, Armenians avoid meting, do not want to attend the meeting,â€ rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, MP Samad Seyidov told journalists, APA reports.

Samad Seyidov says the European Unionâ€™s approach to this issue is unambiguous.

â€œI think the Armeniansâ€™ supporters do not allow this. There are forces in the international organizations supporting them. Despite this we are ready to meet. Our position is based on the international laws. According to the international law, communities must hold talks, discuss the issues related to the coexistence in future. Armenians carried out ethnic cleansing. How can the forces that carried out ethnic cleansing hold talks with the forces that underwent ethnic cleansing? Therefore, they avoid meeting. They know that at the first meeting they will be asked about the reasons of Azerbaijanisâ€™ displacement by Armenians, ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis. Why has Armenia occupied the lands that do not belong to them?â€ I am sure the justice will triumph,â€ he said.
