Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation led by Director General of Israeli Foreign Ministry Rafael Barak, APA reports.
Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that the Israeli representatives congratulated Azerbaijan on the election as the non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
Barak said that the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established 20 years ago. He underlined the dynamical development of relations.
Mammadyarov noted that Azerbaijan-Israel relations had a great potential. He emphasized the importance of continuing the political dialogue.
They also exchanged view on developments in the Middle East and the South Caucasus.
