Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets Mexican Senate delegation

Baku â€“ APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with the delegation of the Mexican Senate led by Senator Carlos Jimenez Macias, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA. Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan was interested in the development of bilateral relations with Mexico and stressed the important role of the parliament diplomacy in the development of the relations. He emphasized the necessity of extension of the cooperation in all directions, as well as in the parliamentary level for the development of relations between the countries.

Mammadyarov informed the Mexican Senators about the negotiations for the peaceful solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and said Azerbaijan appreciated the stand of Mexico in this issue.

The prospects of the development of bilateral relations, as well energy cooperation and other issues causing mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
