Member of the Working Group Moerman said that Azerbaijan showed good results in this sphere: “This country has been governed in positive course. From the point of view of European perspective Azerbaijan is seen as a strong state. Azerbaijan does best for ensuring the freedom of faith and gender equalityâ€.
Moerman noted that the statements of the “Amnesty International†organization were incorrect: “That’s why we ask the working group to answer this report gradually. Azerbaijan is exposed tot eh occupation. It is a very negative case and prevents the development of democracy in the regionâ€.
