I think this statement is a stage moving the process forward, in itself it is not a turning point in the resolution of the conflict,” vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Bahar Muradova said while commenting on the recent statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

Commenting on the international experts’ views that the upcoming elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan will influence the negotiations on the resolution of Karabakh conflict, Bahar Muradova said:
“The previous elections show that elections cause a standstill in the resolution of the conflict. The co-chairs must make efforts to solve the problem before the elections. There is no problem from the Azerbaijani side. The Armenian side delays the negotiations,” she said.

Speaking about Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian’s statement that Azerbaijan impedes the monitoring of ceasefire, vice-speaker said:
“Nalbandian has repeatedly made contradictory statements, it is not right to comment on his statements.”
