Elmar Mammadyarov: Within the framework of OSCE Azerbaijan is ready to share its positive experience in various fields of security

Vilnius. Viktoria Dementyeva â€“ APA. â€œWithin the framework of OSCE Azerbaijan is ready to share its positive experience in various fields of security. This is the experience in energy security, mine clearance, struggle against terrorism, organized crimes, illicit drug turnover and our contribution to the security and stability in Afghanistan,â€ Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at the 18th Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, APA reports from Vilnius.

Minister said Azerbaijan regards OSCE as a unique regional complex on security.
â€œWe consider that this organization is unique in terms of open dialogue among the participating states, resolution of the conflicts, cooperation basing on common values, commitments and principles,â€ he said.

Foreign Minister said OSCE must continue working towards prevention of the conflicts, crisis management.
â€œThough we faced some hardships in the early years of independence, today Azerbaijan is recognized as a partner. Our country has recently demonstrated the highest economic growth rate in the world, in the past five years GDP has increased by 3 times, budget revenues by 10 times in Azerbaijan,â€ Minister said.

Elmar Mammadyarov underlined that Azerbaijan is committed to protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms.
â€œAzerbaijan ensures legal state-building and encourages reforms in the country,â€ he said.
