Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Romanian President Traian Basescu. According to APA, the letter reads: “I cordially congratulate You and your people on behalf of myself and Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the national holiday of Romania – the Day of Unity.
Today Azerbaijan – Romania relations rose to the level of strategic partnership. Development of inter-state relations is accompanied by constant strengthening of friendly relations and extension of cooperation day by day.
I believe we will further make significant contributions to the implementation of regional energy projects successively continuing our successful bilateral initiatives within the framework of the economic cooperation.
I wish splendid health, success in activity to You and welfare and stability to the friendly Romanian peopleâ€.
