President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of newly-appointed Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan - <font color=red>FOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Azerbaijan, APA reports. Underlining that political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Romania are developing successfully, the Head of State said there is a strong legal base to enhance the bilateral relations.

President Ilham Aliyev underlined the role of Romania in the development of Azerbaijan-European Union and Azerbaijan-NATO relations. Wishing success to the Ambassador the Head of State expressed his confidence that Daniel Cristian Ciobanu will contribute to strengthening the relations.

Daniel Cristian Ciobanu expressed his satisfaction with his appointment as ambassador to Azerbaijan and underlined that the bilateral relations are developing successfully. The diplomat underlined the importance of the joint Action Plan signed by Azerbaijani and Romanian presidents for the realization of the strategic partnership between the countries. Ambassador said his country is interested in enhancing relations with Azerbaijan in the sphere of economy and energy sector.

The diplomat said he will do his best for strengthening of the bilateral relations.
