Hungary hosts international conference on 20th anniversary of Azerbaijanâ€™s state independence - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary organized an international conference entitled â€œ20 years of the 3rd Republicâ€ dedicated to the 20th anniversary of regaining the state independence of our country. Ambassador Vilayet Guliyev delivered welcoming speech at the conference, APA reports. Then Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and his Hungarian colleague Peter Starai addressed the conference. Azerbaijani and Hungarian scientists, representatives of various public organizations and state agencies of both countries made 25 reports in the two-day event touching upon the important and topical aspects of the relations between the two countries. The place of Azerbaijan in the contemporary world, achievements in the fields of state-building, economy, science and culture in the past 20 years, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, integration of Azerbaijan into Euro-Atlantic institutions were discussed at the conference. Well-known Azerbaijani violinist, member of the European Cultural Parliament Sabina Rakcheeva performed the pieces of Azerbaijani and European compositions.
