Polad Bulbuloglu: We believe that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be resolved with the help of Russia

According to APAâ€™s Moscow correspondent, the event which was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia, attended by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gregory Karasin, the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries, Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s representation in Moscow, representatives of the All-Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis and the public of the country.

Delivering speech at the ceremony, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said that during 20 years of independence Azerbaijan passed rapid development way. He stressed that the main problem is the liberation of Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.

The Ambassador said that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia become a guarantor of stability in the region. He praised the efforts of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: "We do not lose hope for a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, and we see Russiaâ€™s active activity in solving the problem within the framework of international law. We believe that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be solved with the help of Russia".

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gregory Karasin said that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia rapidly developing and covers a number of fields.

According to Karasin, Russia sees Azerbaijan as a reliable partner that able to conduct a broad constructive dialogue: "On the he basis of cooperation between our countries stands mutual trust and respect that exists between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Dmitry Medvedev. Our links provide a basis for strengthening the strategic partnership of good neighborliness and cooperation, as well as play the role of a factor of stability and security in the Caucasus and the Caspian Sea. And it meets the interests of our states and the desire of both peoples".
