"Cooperation between Slovakia and Azerbaijan in the fields of security, defense, and strengthening defense capabilities is also developing," President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini said in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha, APA reports.
"In 2027–2028, Slovakia will continue to serve as NATO's Contact Point Embassy in Azerbaijan through its embassy in Baku. I am also pleased that our cooperation in the fields of security, defense, and strengthening defense capabilities is developing. I am delighted that, at the major defense industry exhibition to be held in Baku in September, Slovakia will have the opportunity to present the first results of our cooperation and the agreements we have reached," the Slovak president said.
