Azerbaijan Culture Centre opened in Moscow – <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Vice president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, head of the Foundation’s Moscow representation Leila Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, representatives of the culture and information centers of US, France, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Latin American and European countries, as well as Russian public figures attended the ceremony.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Leila Aliyeva said the main working principle of the Azerbaijan Culture Centre was to develop cultural relations between the two countries. “I hope this centre will be interesting for everyone not depending on their ages. Moscow residents can become familiar with the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan here. Exhibitions and presentations popularizing our culture will be held at the centre. Azerbaijan language will also be educated here”.

Ambassador Bulbuloglu said today is very important day. “Among the CIS countries Azerbaijan was first to open its culture centre in Moscow. This is great event to popularize Azerbaijani cultural heritage here”.

Director of the centre Nisa Mustafayeva spoke about their future work. He said they would carry out various projects to popularize Azerbaijani language and contemporary history of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani artist Ashraf Heybatov’s works were exhibited at the centre during the opening ceremony.
